Welcome To foresite
Foresite are part of the design team and work with the Architect on the specification to deliver an 80% improvement on current building regulations or an A rated building. Foresite also work with the Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor in helping to put together the specification to deliver all the other aspects of Code for Sustainable Home.
Foresite at Design stage:
- Provide the CSH assessor with a provisional Energy rating for a specific building based on the Foresite Adapted Robust Details; the calculated y factor of less than 0.04 W/m2k for the cold bridge factor, air tightness of less than 1.3m3/m2/hr @50 pascals, complete U value of the envelope of the building of 0.18W/m2k along with other elements of the specification.
Foresite at Tender stage:
- Work with the Architect, quantity surveyor and CSH assessor in producing tender documents, Foresite help with the contract, specification and bill of quantities, incorporating all the aspects of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
Foresite During construction:
- Have trained independent energy assessors who check the Foresite Adapted robust details at critical stages of the construction, these records are used by the CSH assessor in proving the Design Stage Detailing for the Post Construction Assessment.
Foresites role within the design team is to ensure the design stage detailing and specification given to the CSH assessor is supervised during construction and the documentation is available for the CSH assessor for the Post Construction Assessment.
